PSU and graphics card issue

Hey, guys !

I've changed my graphics card from a GTX 580 to a R9 290X, and when I try to run furmark, the system shuts down in the next second. Also, cannot run a complete futuremark test suite without a shutdown after a maximum one minute.

My powersupply has 5 V12 outputs, each at 18A ( +12VA 18A, 12VB 18A, 12VC 18A, 12VD 18A, 12VE 18A), with the mention that 12VA,VB,VC,VD,VE shall not exceed 825W.

The power supply is a dell H875EF-00. I've checked inside the PSU for any bloated capacitors or something fishy-looking, but it looks alright.

Can I power the graphics card with 2 different 12V outputs from the PSU ? (6 pins from one V12(eg: VA) output, and the other 8 pins from another V12output (eg VE) ?

As I figured it, the drawn current is 2 much for one output and the protection kicks in.

Thank you !
