So this is probably a really stupid question, but I just started a new build and I have this power supply:

My case has a vent and filter where the power supply sits. Is the fan supposed to be facing down towards the ground? I'm just confused because I've never had a fanless PSU before on a bottom mounted PSU so I just wanted to make sure I'm installing this right.

An honest question is never stupid. If you're refering to an air intake vent with filter, that's located on the bottom of the case, then mounting the PSU with it's cooling air intake fan facing the intake vent in the case will supply the best airflow. The PSU intake fan can face up, down, or sideways.

Ok cool, that's what I figured. I have another question as well. I have a top mounted fan and a back fan like any other case. Should both of these fans be set to exhaust to get heat out, or should I have the top one set to intake.

In the event I get another fan for the front of the case (didn't come with one), I may end up setting both to exhaust anyways. I just am curious what the best option right now is though.

Yes, set both top and rear to exhaust; there'll be plenty of intake air. When you mount your front fan set it to intake.
