will a 300W psu limit the card's performance? it seems to be running fine but my 3dmark's score are a bit low compared to other projects with similar mobo and cpu. im getting 17500 pts on 2001se and 10500 on '03. i have properly uninstalled old drivers and so far the only thing i have not tried is a fresh OS install.

what brand ps? problems due to a sub-par ps are not low scores, but stability problems. plus you have to remember many people use hacked drivers and overclock their caqrd so high that it crashes at certain stages of the tests, that is why you see many scores that do not run all the tests, but just enough to get a score.

yours seem about right for stock IQ settings

Seems fine to me. I score 10,700 on '03 at stock speed and that's with an A64 2800+. I currently have an Antec 420w power supply.

They probably have their cards OC'd. You're doing just fine. PSUs don't limit performance.

What brand do you have, anyways?

yeah 300w psu's do the job well. i don't understand why all of these companies are supporting 500w psu's for these new graphics cards.
