I need to grab a new PSU.. I have a generic 420W that works alright, but it needs to go to another system. I want to get this:

http://www.dealsonic.com/ansmar35p4at.html

It's the Antec Smartblue 350W

Will it power an XP 1700 + 2 Hard Drives, Radeon 8500, DVD drive, CDRW and about 2 or 3 case fans?

Also, importantly will it power my future systems? I really like the LED light so thats why I want it (Well, I want an ANTEC, but this is the Antec I would prefer)

So will it suffice for present and future?

It'll work fine. As for the future? Who knows what power requirements await us. :) Good price too.

you are fine with the 350 IMO.

it is hard to speculate what future consumption will be so i would just get a PSU suited for your current setup

Ok sounds great. Sorry to keep it up, but I mean as far as current tech goes will it be ok? I mean if I get like an athlon 2800+ or p4 2.8 or something, will it still handle that? If so, its fine with me

That PS should be okay for now. If you can spend an additional $25-$30, you should be able to purchase an Antec TruePower 430 watt PS. Its a higher quality (low noise fan circuitry) and will give you the extra wattage for most future upgrades. I ended up purchasing the Antec TruePower 480 watt PS for $87.

Sounds good.. now I just have to find a good deal on a case

It seems like you can either get a good case for a good price or a good psu for a good price. but no one has both together for a agood price :p

Try Newegg.com for both your P.S. and case. I just purchased the Lian Li Case. Here's the link Lian Li. This is going to be my case forever as it was over $140 including tax and shipping. It has all the features I need and the future (at least the next 4 or 5 years). It's extremely light but very sturdy.

I got one with my LANBOY Antec case, works good

How do you like the LANBOY? Personally I was leaning towards a tower, and i'm sorry but I would never pay the price that Lian Li goes for (as someone mentioned above) I don't like the cases, plus they are mid towers. For that price I could even get a Xaser
