I need some ideas here!
We are going to grill steaks and chicken but what about sides and dessert?
I want something really nice and thoughtful yet delicious!

Tell me ATOT chefs and cooks, what is a good menu for moms?

If you're already grilling, throw chopped potatoes & carrots with some butter & spices into foil and let them roast on the grill for about 30 minutes. Delicious, and oh-so-easy.

Portobello mushrooms cooked with garlic butter and a bit of pepper. Include a few well cut pieces of real garlic inside when you cook. It smells great. With steaks and chicken you kinda want something light for dessert. Sherbert of the sour variety or maybe some strawberry short cake. Strawberry topped cheese cake is good to!

spinach and tomato salad with hot bacon dressing.

mushroom risotto.

garlic butter haricot verts (fancy name for french green beans)/ or instead of garlic butter, you can do them almondine.

I would just buy a dessert.

or if you are going tropical.

mango seafood cerviche.

some kind of pasta salad.

bananas cooked in rum and brown sugar, served over ice cream.

it just came to me. an easy dessert is crepes.

you can fill with nutella if you don't want to deal with making a filling.
