I'm hopeful that the sports game will be much closer to PS3/Xbox quality. I've always wanted to play those on the go, but the current offerings don't inspire me.

I always felt like the Madden games on PSP were pretty darn good quality. I loved being able to play against someone in the same building with no issues. I thought it was a pretty well made gaming system. The only thing I didn't like were the load times from turning on the PSP to starting the game. But I realize that the reading disc media technology has kind of peaked.

I haven't tried the most recent releases, but the controls on the Vita are much closer to a full controller. Hopefully having two analogue sticks will help.

There's a good-sized part of me that wants one of these to play MLB '12 The Show across both the PS3 and Vita. My RTTS player would progress so much better when I could play during my commute. But I'll likely wait to see if the price drops at all and won't even consider it until March when MLB 12 lands. Battery life and memory card costs are sort of scaring me away, though.
