If I connected a PSP to a computer(via USB, I'm assuming that the PSP has a USB port) that had an internet connection, can the PSP go online? I ask because I might want to get a PSP for the connectivity options it has with the PS3, but I won't be having wireless, just a wired connection.

lol PSP haz no gamez!

On a serious note, no I don't think so. I had one a while back and I don't recall that option. You can do that to copy stuff to your memory card, but not for accessing internet. I may be wrong so feel free to correct me anyone.

You're right.
Unless there's some new homebrew app that can network over usb its use for accessing the memory stick only.

I don't know of any third party apps that would allow that, but there are USB devices that act as mini routers, such as the Nintendo Wi-Fi connector.
