PSP problems.Post if you got a defective Tony Hawk Underg 2.

Have you?We got a few copies in rental and 2 came back with customers renting them and they were not working.We tried them in our demo machine and indeed, the tony hawks have problems to load.


Ahhhh, and i told everyone in a earlier post....GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY....ITS A SONY PRODUCT....

too bad blockbuster doesnt have an extended warranty program
and yes I am anticipating problems with this first gen psp, much like i did with my 1st gen ps2

i got slammed like a piece of c#$p.....because i told everyone to watch out about sony reputation....and i told you to buy the extended warranty instead of buying an extra game...

but hey...sony cover the dead pixels problems...you guys got lucky a bit

Here is a list of problems i experience

1)Tony Hawks not loading
2) NFS Rivals not loading
3) Disk read error( i chuckle at that one )
4)Freeze when loading a game...i needed to reboot .


We sold a lot of machine, and we didnt experience any dead pixels system yet..luckily.

Got a question, I bought a PSP first on thursday which had 3 dead pixels, took it back to blockbuster on friday exchanged it and luckily second had NO dead pixels, but now the second one's UMD drive makes a LOT of noise when loading/searching, do your UMD drives make a lot of noise also? (the noise is like a grinding noise with i guess the laser head moving)

Didnt noticed lot of noise( bah our place is noise lol, so i cannot hear the psp noise )

Just curious,what deal did blockbuster got on those PSP?

well here in canada we had too, the value pack (spiderman 2 no game for $299) and the gretzky pack (basically same as value plus gretzky) also I got blockbuster to give me $35 for my gretzky game and then I exchanged it for ape escape
