Just saw the PSP last weekend. Very neat. Couldn't believe the clarity of the screen and the size - wow! Never seen the other one.

The only reason to get a ds is pictochat and draw inappropriate images all day with a billion people linked up in a public place (which has happened). Other reason being getting mario kart whenever it comes out in a billion years.

psp. it's got everything the DS should have now(4 months or so after it came out)

i have world tour soccer and tony hawk underground 2 remix. i can very well see a FPS coming out fo rthe fps. thug2 has pretty good interaction with physics for a portable.

SOCOMM anyone?

Eh. I'd go with DS. I'm 22 and love the DS. Now MIND YOU, the USA selection is pretty crappy, I concur on that. I'm into importing for my DS and love games like Kirby, Pac Pix and Jam with the Band. They are super fun and innovative. I like using a hand held system for games you can't get on consoles. DS is fantastic for that. If I wanted to play Tony Hawk or Twisted Metal, I would play it on PS2, not on the go.

I think the PSP has great potential once hacked. Even as it is, it was a no brainer for me with the video/pic capabilities in addition to games.

hmm DS/gameboy sp does have the nes emulator... but i figure it's only a matter of time before its ported to psp too.
