PSP: How to transfer files/movies?

A co-worker of mine asked how to transfer digital copies of movies to the PSP. He asked if there was some sort of software to do the conversion from DVD to whatever format the PSP supported.

He said he transferred a .wmv file over and it would not play. I didn't have a clue as I have never watched a movie on my PSP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

DVD Fab Platinum. That's all you need to do DVD>PSP. And it does it very well. 🙂

What about if you already have .avi's and .mpegs already? Can that software convert it to whatever format the PSP reads? And what video format does the PSP accept?

if its mpeg files just copy them over. plug psp into computer via usb cable. with avi files depending on what codec it was encoded in. google to see what codecs the psp supports by default.
