Everybody seemed to want 3G access for the PSP Go. With Firmware 6.10, they'll get it, sort of. The update enables Bluetooth tethering which will allow The Go to communicate with a mobile phone and use it as a modem.

Aside from that, the store is getting a redesign and a newly updated iTunes-like media program for PC called Media Go.

I wonder what they're going to do about security, since essentially the encryption they use on the 5.55 and 6.00 games has already been cracked (meaning PSP Go games).

Don't you know, the price is a genius ploy by Sony to get you to buy the lower PSP. You walk in and are like, wow, cool, wait, I can't afford that (a Wii costs less than that now!), but I really want one, so I know, I'll buy one that isn't the same. Its got a bigger screen though, and I can watch UMD movies since they're so popular.

Yeah, WTF Sony. Of course I think the DSi is priced stupidly as well.

Sony did at least decide to bring out Gran Turismo at the same time, but is it just me or are they doing no marketing for that? You'd think they'd be all over the place about the PSP Go and GT PSP.

The sad thing is, I almost want to get a PSP to play GT, and I'd like to play the Go, but $300 and I'd probably think GT sucked like GT4 did and want to sell it 5 minutes later and probably couldn't get $200 out of it. The reviews for GT PSP aren't looking so hot, but it sounds like the motivation for continuing is really disjointed and some other WTF (only 4 manufacturers with 10 cars available at a time?).

Can they both stop releasing these stop-gap systems and just make a real new handheld already?

I've seen commercials for GT PSP, and it played a lot like GT4 with horrible controls since the little nub the call the analog stick bites.
