Probably a scam.

Sellers who intend to scam big will get their feedback up and then wham within in a week they will hose buyers out of thousands or more.

There is that guy in florida who has the FBI, Secret Service , and local authorities after him because he did just that.

Say you buy somethhing like that off eBay and you run into dead pixels, broken screen ,whatever, how do you get it repaired under warranty anyways? If a seller gives you a receipt of purchase is that enough for Sony to service it under warranty? Always wondered about that.

If you don't have a receipt, then it will usually go by the serial number.

A manufactuer will give a warranty either from the date on the receipt or the date it was made/sent out.

Why not? Sure, it's a bit more difficult than getting money wired to you immediately but it can be done relatively easily. While the scammer could very well be ignorant about the whole process, it's very possible the scammer already has control of something else related to this person. A bank account perhaps? paypal ATM card? Obviously, he will stall and hope to have enough time to transfer your payment into his bank account. At this point, you will have to fight to get your money back. Most likely you will but who in their right mind would want to go through all that?

Red Flags
[*]Multiple recent feedbacks from 1 cent items
[*]Significantly less than the going rate
[*]Free Shipping
[*]The need to explain the low price

This is obviously a scam.
