psp usually comes in black, but recently they have a limited edition white version...

so i was wondering which one is better.

is the white one better on the smudging and the scratches? and does the game play experience feel a little weird because you are playing a game on a white background?

 
black will make the screen look brighter. White will make teh screen look more dull and faded. Also black is sexier 😉

yeah.. plus I've got a chrome faceplate on order with my black one it'll look better. white looks like an iPod.
 
If you wanna buy a PSP, I suggest going to a local store where you can check the box codes yourself to determine the firmware version. If you don't care about homebrew apps, feel free to ignore my advice.
