One of the engineers bought one and everyone has been looking at it here at work. Wow that thing is slick. All the engineers going, wow great design.

I'm not really going to buy one but after looking at it and playing it makes you think.

I just hate the ergonomics of the device.

It has the worse feel and ergonomics of any handheld I've held.

The graphics are nice, the device looks slick, but's it's very undesirable to hold.

I do have to say, i feel scared of dropping that thing.

someone else here at work said they will buy one this weekend and bring it to work.

The only thing i don't like about it is the disks they use, i wish i could just put my own movies on the thing but sony memory sticks are expensive.

Edit: sony should make a non video game version, only for movies, pictures and mp3.

it's not about size of hands, i just don't like how my hands are a bit too far apart, and my wrists have to be at an odd angle to play the device. I have tendinitis on my right wrist, so it's very uncomfortable to play it.

I hate how I have to reach over to push the start button. It's all looks. Button placement to sony was something to worry about later.

My friend (at user name = gunther) has one and I can't play for no longer than 10 minutes until my right wrist starts hurting.

If the areas where you hold the psp was a ton thicker and angled outwards (of course that'll make the psp look ugly), then it's be a lot more easier to hold

Also, it feels like I can drop the psp really easily when holding it. I fear that I may scratch it or put additional fingerprints all over the psp, so there's a mental block when holding it.

The DS, it feels a lot more sturdy when you hold it, and it doesn't feel like that I can break it when I drop it. Yes yes the psp is sturdy, but the whole design makes you feel like that you don't want to have a single scratch on it.

The 512MB is $55, and the 1GB due out in a few months I believe is supposed to be about $80.

Don't you have to buy all new games and stuffs such as movies/music for the PSP? Would that be great if you can play all the games from the PS1 and PS2 library.

I just ran the battery out on mine for the first time today. It was completely charged last night, and I played it for around an hour and a half. I then hooked it up to the computer and moved a few files around for about 20 minutes. Played again today at work for around an hour and 15 minutes, played some on the way home for about 20 minutes, and the light was blinking telling me it was low.

Battery life isn't much, but I could care less for what this thing can do.
