Within 2 weeks, the E3 convention will be upon us, and as expected, Sony and Nintendo should release all info to us gaming masses about their upcoming handhelds, the PSP and DS, respectively.
Not much is known of either device to make a conclusive decision about which one is better, so think of this as a precursor to the wars that inevitably rage amongst Sony and Nintendo fanboys alike.
If I had to buy one right now, not knowing much about either, I'd choose the PSP. The PSP is rumored to feature analog buttons, has a sleek concept design (could change, though), and the first video released has outstanding graphics for a handheld (i'd compare them to a slightly cleaner looking PSOne). The DS doesn't appeal to me at all at this stage, as I think dual screens will be more of a gimmick than a useful feature. Also, with it rumored one of the screens is a touch screen? Why? It's not a palm pilot, it's a gaming machine. I don't need my greasy fingers all over it.
Please keep in mind I'm not a fanboy, but just a gamer at heart. I own all 3 consoles, a GBA, and my high-mid gaming PC, and wouldn't trade any of them.
