Link - Much like what they did with Xbox Live, the PSN Store has hit Amazon. Browse, make your purchase, and you'll receive a code to use on your PS3 or PSP.

Yea, I noticed that this morning. Pretty cool.

Although, I'd like to see some occasional discounts through the XBL and PSN Store on amazon, that'd be nice.

so?

eBay and Amazon are competitors in every aspect. In fact, Amazon has among the very best online payment systems in the world, which they also sell to others like PayPal does, called Checkout by Amazon.

You wouldn't expect eBay to start accepting Google Checkout or Checkout By Amazon, would you?

Interesting...maybe now I can actually buy something from PSN, instead of PSN rejecting my CC info even though I verified with my CC company AND the statement that they send me that my CC information was in fact entered correctly. :|

I am not seeing a whole lot of content on there right now...like for instance, I don't see Super Street Figter 2 Turbo HD Remix available to purchase for PSN through Amazon yet.

It looks like only first-party published titles are available for now.

Awesome. I haven't looked at it yet.. but does it require your PSN account when purchasing? I have a friend overseas who can't purchase stuff off the US PSN so this might be a good work around.

Nope, it just gives you a redemption code. It's not clear on the site but I would assume that the code will only work with a US PSN account.

so?

ebay hates amazon

And Paypal sucks.

And Amazon does not suck, therefore Amazon will never accept Paypal.

A more truthful statement has never been stated before.
