PSN playstation account

Well I'm a nube to Ps4 but to claim my Uncharted voucher I had to create one. Didn't see anyway around it. Shopping for games on Amazon it seems like sometimes the download voucher is cheapest option. Picked up The Last os US for $19.If paranoid just don't add any cc info etc.

obviously you would need a PSN account if you are downloading games from PSN.
 
You don't have to, but I don't understand why you wouldn't want to. You'd need it even to get online patches/updates for games and the PS4. If you are concerned about security, there's absolutely no need to put in a credit card number. If you want to buy anything from the online marketplace, just buy PSN cash card from Amazon or anywhere and type in the code.
