Hopefully the three that they caught are actually guilty. If they actually were involved, it's only a matter of time (it's probably already happened) before they start selling out the others for *promises* of leniency.

Hope it was worth it, shit heads. You had to be naive to think you'd never be caught.

Anyone see the free movies yet? Supposedly they got added yesterday, but I can't find it. I doubt I'll watch any anyhow, the free movies are Ghostbusters, Bad Boys and Final Fantasy lol.

They have already given us a lot, but I guess people are pissed about the crappy movie selection.

The Netflix update still locks up at 21% every time, and it's only 16 MB. All is not well yet.

Ok guys, so I managed to change my password. Logged in on my PSP on the PS Store, downloaded the Welcome back package. Selected Little Big Planet, it started downloading but then at around 50% something timed out. So I went to my account history, found LBP and asked to redownload it. Which it now did fine. I wanted to select my second game, Killzone, but when I enter into Welcome Back on my PSP, it's empty... Says no content was found. What gives? I thought I could get two games?

Downloaded and played Stardust. Didn't really enjoy the globe layout. I thought it would be scrolling, either top or side. oh well, at least I ddin't pay for it. Hopefully infamous pans out better.

Ok, nevermind. Had to do some menu navigation in my Account Management. Now it's downloading Killzone 🙂

So from what I've read, it sounds like I actually need a PSP to play the PSP games. Oh well. (I' curious, b/c many of the PSOne games are playable on PS3 or PSP).

Anyhoo, downloaded inFamous and Dead Nation over the weekend. little to no trouble. DN took maybe 1 hour, I let inFamous go overnight.

Been playing inFamous a bit, and it's quite fun. I probably haven't played a console game in about 2 years or more, so I'm quit annoyed that there appears to be no option to adjust music/effects/Voices.

The voices are SILENT. Really pissing me off. I try to keep the volume down relatively low so all the explosions and crap aren't deafening, but I can never hear the voices when story info pops up. Even when I can hear it, it's still drowned out by god damn music and bullets.

....Who are the ass clowns that mixed the audio on this game?
:colbert:

Are you using a 5.1 setup?

I'm guessing the game is using a 5.1 setup but you only have a stereo setup, therefore making it difficult to hear voices.

Voices are typically on the center channel only which is non-existent in a stereo setup.

If the above applies to you, perhaps there is a setting in-game where you can change the sound to 2 speaker or stereo. <shrug>

Oh and yeah, can't play PSP games on your PS3. They want you to spend money on another console. haha

You should be getting 2 games. The package is for 2 PS3 games AND 2 PSP games.

Sounds like something fux0red up with your d/l. I got no solution for ya unfortunately.

yep, 5.1. It's a common issue with all the shit-tastic mixing in the new "HD" audio standards for BD as well. silent dialogue, shitty stupid loud explosions and door-shutting. It's fucking insane. I have no idea why these people have jobs, seeing as they suck so much at it.

anyhoo, I was going to adjust my center channel. :\

Worst off is that I already own Ghostbusters and Bad Boys on blu-ray (and Final Fantasy on DVD) 🙁.

I've always had the problem, but it's been recommended that I finally get off my lazy bum and enable Audessey's MultEQ. That should help equalize it out, but my bum is still lazy, so I have not.

Another question, is your receiver putting out a 5.1 signal?

When I first installed my receiver to my PS3, I had to re-run the audio setup in the system settings before my receiver would start outputting 5.1.

But yeah it could just be shitty mixing.
