Hey all, i've recently dug out my PS2 and started playing FFX on a pathetic, ancient TV.

Is there some type of adapter I can get to play my PS2 on my monitor? It has no component input.

Here's the connectivity info from the monitor i bought
Input Video Compatibility: Analog RGB, Digital
Connectors: D-Sub, DVI-D
D-Sub: 1
DVI: DVI(HDCP)
HDMI: No

Two ways:

1. Buy a VGA adapter to hook the PS2 directly to the monitor.
2. Buy a TV card for the PC.

I don't remember seeing any Component TV cards though.

The VGA adapters I've tried were complete junk. On the other hand, my TV card (that supports at most S-Video) has much better quality than even component input on the VGA adapters I've tried.

Using a program called DScaler, I get no latency issues by going through a TV card.

If anyone can recommend a VGA adapter that's actually good, that might be preferable.
