I don't really have the patience to wait for wireless USB, nor would I benefit from it's added bandwidth.

I have a USB-based IR port that I would like to mount further away from my system than the cable provides. Is there any way to get a two-piece USB/Bluetooth module that would bridge the USB-female and USB-male connections using bluetooth?
