If you're a couple and insist on holding hands while walking down the street slowly... could you at least walk close together. It doesn't help if one of you tend to veer towards the left and the other towards the right. Extra important especially if you're both fatties. I have places I need to be. Thanks in advance.

What will end up happening is that you walk into their interlocked ham arms which will then tug them both towards you like 2 wreaking balls.

If you are walking down the street, you're already doing it wrong. Use the sidewalk or drive.

Back in college, I noticed that people almost seemed too continue to hold hands even when it seemed almost haphazard or troublesome to do so. I recall this one time in the cafeteria that I watched a woman navigate through a sea of tables with her man in tow and both were bound by their clenched hands. What made this stand out to me is that it looked really awkward for both people. The only thought that crossed my mind was, "why not just let go and make it easier on everyone... especially the two of you!" I'm sure your hands can be apart for half a minute and still be okay.

My girl and I will stop holding hands on the street if you would kindly turn down that annoying music you insist on playing at full volume in your car when you drive through the neighborhood at 1am in the morning when we're trying to sleep.

people around here are pretty much garbage when it comes to sidewalk courtesy. i enjoy walking around downtown with a friend of similar size (>6ft and 200ish)...after being 'the nice guy' who steps aside fifty times in a row, we both say fuck it and start playing chicken with people. i have no problem forcing the majority of these uncivilized jackasses to the ground and/or into the street.

I don't think I've ever had people holding hands in the way. Its always a group of people spanning the entire width of the sidewalk or walkway or hallway.

typically.

if i were shorter, handholders would be the easiest to fuck with, though- stay in the middle and give them a choice: fondle my junk or GTFO of the way.
