Cans of air are expensive.

That's why I LOVE my Air Compressor. Those cans o' air can get expenisve. My 2HP compressor cost me only $79. I have gotten my money back ten fold, I use it to clean my AC, Computers, Fans, Filters, Back of the Fridge, Plus I can put air in my tires, fill my sons sports balls, Bicycle tires, Etc. Etc.
You can use it in the house too just leave the door open.

I love my Air compressor Here's a link.

Linky, It's the second from the top for $79

Free Shipping Too.

NO THIS IS NOT A HOT DEAL. ITS A PSA 😀

By the way the SEARS 2hp Craftsman compressor SUCKS, I owed it.

Woooo, I inspired a thread. 🙂

I used our ungodly expensive Rainbow Rexair vacuum to clean out all the dust from the computer. The blower attachement comes in quite handy at times.

I'm telling you this baby is SOLID and works great, It runs small air tools too.😀

I have used this thing SOOOO many times. I love it, I don't know how I lived without it.

what's the strength compared to the cans for this one?

if most people say this thing's good, i'm going to get this

Because compressed air contains small amounts of moisture...this is bad...I recommend going with compressed nitrogen ...its not as expensive as one thinks.

Yep, compressors also compress the moisture in the air. This makes for some water in the spray, especially when you get to the bottom of the tank.

When I was in HS I worked as a gas station, and even in dry CA the water heater sized compressor would drain about half a gallon of water a day.

DataVac also offers an alternate solution.

One very nice feature would be that most of the above mentioned DataVac solutions offer both a vacuum and blower mode. Cannot speak for everyone, but there are certainly times I run across machines that simply pushing the dust and debris around does not aid all that much.

Why would you need the door open if it's electric? And how loud is that thing?

Well because I guess it emits vapors from the vents and the manual states to use in a well ventilated area.
As for the loudness It's about average for compressors. It's loud but not hurt your ears loud.

Strength? there's no comparison to cans. I hit a 160 PSI on this baby, a can of air can't do no where near that.

I've tested this with some air tools and it works great. Only thing is the tank is small so it will be running 80% of the time your using it if you want MAX PSI.

I use a real compressor when I work on computers. I blow them out in the driveway to keep the crap outside. This is especially true when fixing a smoker's computer. In the dorms though I just use compressed air and a vacuum cleaner.

You can freeze off a wart with canned air. Can't do that with an air compressor. Plus, canned air is FLAMMABLE. 🙂

You can also cause a 3rd degree burn and seriously fvsk yourself up. Turning the cans upside down and spraying is not a good thing. If you doubt it try it for yourself. :Q

I need to get one so I can paint some parts of my car...

you are going to want a MUCH bigger tank if you are going to paint a car. the last thing you want is to run out of air while painting, and that doesnt look like a very big one. i would suggest to get a bigger tank at least.

but touching up spots that you dont care about how sh!tty it looks, then it would be fine for the job. but im sure that the capital it will cost you to start this up will be much more than taking it down to the shop and letting them have at it.

I don't think customers would allow me on their site carrying that thing. Would be cool though. I could get keyboards really really really clean. 😛

People who don't know anything about air compressors and run out and get one won't know to get the filter for water.

Moisture really isn't a problem with this compressor, Yes it does start spraying a little moisture if you use it for a long time, But there is a plug on the bottom to drain the moisture/water.

With this compressor I can clean out a computer tower in about 5 seconds that's how powerfull this bad boy is in comparison to cans. And when you first use it there will be no moisture.

BOTTOMLINE THIS COMPRESSOR FOR THE PRICE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT INCLUDES ALL THE ATTACHMENTS YOU WILL NEED PLUS An ATTACHMENT TO BLOW UP BALLONS!!😀

thx epoman

😎

You will love this compressor you will find sooooo many uses for it. One thing though don't forget to let the air out when your done and drain the moisture. If you leave the air in it while your not using it will put pressure on the welds of the tank, and the moisture could rust the inside tank. So just read your manual.

Whats really cool is you NEVER need to add OIL unlike the 2HP Craftsman compressor.

Enjoy your new toy. Just get ready to have the all the freaking kids in the neighborhood ask you to blow their balls.....wait that didn't sound right 😱 ......Blow UP their balls. 😀
