Don't leave your cars in the middle of the road while you exchange information. I'm trying to get to work and some dipthong a few cars in front of me ran into the back of the car in front of her (I'd bet a million dollars she was texting) but rather than move to a nearby parking lot to exchange information they just did right there in the left lane without bothering to move either car. They just left them there blocking traffic and forcing everyone to go around them. It was impossible to get to the right because cars that could see what happened had already done that so the cars in front of me took to the median to get around them. Traffic was fuxored behind us.

Dumbfucks...

I've been in an accident before where we moved to exchange information and wait for the police only to have the police tell us they couldn't file a report because we moved. I'm not ever moving again.

But if we move our cars, how will the insurance adjusters, state police, highway patrol, crime scene investigators, FBI, secret service, Russian mafia, NASA astronauts, etc., be able to determine who is at fault?

Edit: I think it depends on the severity of the accident.

It is annoying but it's a fact of life. Wait for the police to tell you to move.
If you've got a problem with it, just be glad it's not you.

Police won't show up to a minor traffic collision like this unless there are injuries. I know this for a FACT because I've been hit and called the cops. They asked if anyone was injured and just told us to exchange information and report it to our insurance companies.
