.....try not to eat half of it, seal the container up, put it under your desk and forget about it. The ensuing explosion a few days later will not smell good AT ALL.

I was starting to wonder if my boss had sh*t himself until he explained what smelled so damn bad.

He's pretty much the classic "Absent-Minded Professor"; bright guy, but a tad scatterbrained. ;)

Heh, over the summer, one of the guys I work with was on out of town at a conference. He sent us two interns an email asking us to search through his cube and find the half Sub he left there two days ago...that was fun.

I'm totally afraid to even look in his office to see what was in the tupperware. The smell is right on par with that of a long-dead opossum marinated in vomit in a metal shack in south Texas in July.

Thank god the airflow in labs is directed to some extent. I'm safe as long as I stay in the higher-pressure areas (ie- my office...in front of the keyboard :D )

Someone slapped a huge BIOHAZARDOUS MATERIALS sticker on the door to the men's room at the end of the hall last week. Made me giggle. :D

I'm not sure what it originally was but a few days in a sealed container = anaerobic bacteria = all kinds of nasty sulfurous compounds = pressure = explosion = horrendous stink.
