Are now fit for human consumption. They were by far the worst fries at any chain in the world previously. Now they're pretty decent even if they're not amazing.

That's all, AT:OT can now resume previous neffing.

Agreed on how they were previously. I haven't tried the new ones but they tested them on the hippies in Austin first and then rolled them out nationwide so I'll give them a whirl next time I'm craving wendys.

In the 70's, I turned wrenches in a factory that made Wendy'd french fries. (their number one customer.)

I got so sick of them that I couldn't eat Wendy's fries for several years. The stench permeated the entire town.

I have lots of fun stories about the place though...

I still don't like Wendy's fries...IMO, they're about the worst on the market. (haven't tried the "new" ones though. The local Wendy's all suck.

They have been great recently...is this a change?

Also, their burgers and menu selection easily trump BK and McD's.

yes they are a lot better now. for one they are actually crispy now, but it feels like an artificially crispy layer, kind of like A&W's.

I agree that they were pretty terrible. If you didn't get them IMMEDIATELY out of the fryer, they were soggy and gross.

Fries are totally awesome but I don't eat them anymore. So much dishealth in such a small package. Better to order two sandwiches than eat sandwich and fries. Wendy's has combos with salads and bunless sandwiches FTW.

Yeah I agree. I hated the old Wendy's fries. The new ones are definitely pretty decent.

You guys talking about the new fresh cut ones with sea salt?

Yes. I had Wendy's a few days ago (I rarely eat there), and the fries were those new ones. I don't believe they serve both the old and the new, the Wendy's I was at only had the new. They are 10000000000x infinity better than the old ones. Not the best fries on earth, but to say it's a monumental improvement is an understatement.

There was zero wrong with the fires, just the cook time. Wendy's NEVER cooks them long enough. Normal=mushy gross bleh... Well done=McDonald's fries on steroids.

What makes fries good is grease from animals. Beef lard will do a good job.

Fries and hashbrowns must be cooked very hard and crispy. Why do people just not leave them in the fryer for just a few more minutes is beyond me...

I just noticed two of the tags are cowbell and tits...
Anyways Wendy's new fries are ok, but I still like Burger King's the best.

I always thought wendys had good frys. Burger king has the worst fries of all time. I feel my arteries clogging as I eat them. They have some sort of disgusting unnatural coating on them that reminds me of crisco.

Seasoned Curly Fries > regular fries, for the life of me I can't understand how only JiTB & Arby's have figured this out.

Because most people agree with me, that those types of fries are not fit for garden fertilizer. Waste of fries, waste of spices.
