So my room-mate, a construction management major, is potentially one of the most annoying I've had thus far.
He doesn't STFU, Ever. I mean, he even talks in his sleep! When watching a movie, working on a project, ect. I can't stand being in the same room as him because he will keep trying to talk to me.
him:"Oh, thats the thing-a-migige"
me:"Mmhm"
him:"My brother once worked on this thing-a-majig for 3 weeks it was so awesome then he took his troubled youth out to a BBQ, that was AMAZING. I have 6 extra toes and a sugery when I was two, I like pie and cake. We are working on class projects this week they are so hard....."
(he'll go on like that for an hour if not more. Whats worse is that he isn't even original on his subjects. It is always exactly the same conversation.)
Heck, you would think he'd get the hint when NOBODY responds to what he is saying. But noo, he just lets his jaw flap like there is no tomorrow. In fact, he will just get louder and louder, almost like a 2 year old screaming for attention.
There are other trivial annoying things that he does, but everyone has them. I just find it so distracting. A conversation is good every once in a while, not while I'm working on a project.
