One of the best movies in the last few years. I loved it, defeinitely worth watching with your SO. And they filmed it pretty closed to the book too.

WTF are you smoking. Troy had one of the worst editing I have ever seen. It jumps from scene to scene way too much without any transitions at all. Plus, the movie blew. One of the few movies I wanted my money back after seeing on the big screen.

I dont understand how you can say it followed teh book closely when in the movie PARIS KILLED ACHILES ?!? WTF?!?

I might be wrong - I read the book over 10 years ago. Who killed Achiles? All I remember is that Appollo guided the arrow.

Besides leaving out major characters, prophecies and not following most of the story - sure it was close the book :roll:

It was an okay movie. Not great, but I was entertained.
