hell ya man, I own it...in the special collectors tin...best HBO series ever.

I heard rumors they were making another one too it, very similar that would be based on the Pacific front.
That would rule as well
 
Definitely worth watching. And as someone said, watch it several times. I think I've watched it twice since I got it and it's not enough. I've actually been toying with the idea of watching it again and probably will when I have a little time.

No, I don't think I will. I'm also not likely to watch Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, etc.
Trainspotting, however, is in my queue.
 
:thumbsup: I finally bought it a few months ago. It's definitely one of the best movies (or series of movies) that I've seen.
 
Trainspotting = Awesome movie

Band of Brothers = Far Far Far "Awesomer." It is my belief that Band of Brothers is the "Awesomist" thing ever caught on film.
 
I typically watch the entire series once a year. I just finished my 4th go-around and reread the book a few weeks ago when I was out sick.
