PSA: Virus from Mwave

You all should know better, but careful of any emails from MWave. I'm assuming some asshat employee opened some email attachment they shouldn't have.

Anyway it's the following:

Subject: RE: Application
Body: Please see the attached zip file for details.
Attachment: your_details.zip (99kb)

Infected File: details.pif
Virus: W32/Sobig.E


...and always where sunscreen.
 
lots of email virus floating around these days

blame it on the gullible users who help to spread these around

Bingo. Sobig fakes its from email address; this isn't coming from MWave folks.
