I used to live where there was two right turn lanes that went into 4 lanes. I would always take the leftmost right turn lane because I needed to go into the second from the right lane on my right turn. Some people would freak out! I had one guy honk at me like I was doing something wrong or should have been in the first right turn lane. From my understanding they were the idiots and I was 100% following the law. I started following a guy home that honked at me once I was so pissed. Was I in the right, or the wrong?

lol... Good thread, I cannot stand people who can't drive correctly. It's not rocket science, it's not even tricky. The only thing that makes it dangerous is people like them, who cannot seem to figure out how to stay in their lane or stop at a light/sign.

Here are some more tips: Yield does not mean gun it and cut off people on the highway, it means wait for the traffic to pass. MERGE does not mean yield. Stop means STOP and wait for traffic before going. "Right turn OK on red" does not mean GUN it, it means yield for the traffic, like a yield sign. Apparently, YIELD is the most difficult concept for american drivers

Jesus christ, I swear driving has lowered my life expectancy by 5 years just from raising my heart-rate, much less the danger people put me or anyone else in. Necessary everyday activities should not give people high blood pressure.

You were 100% correct. Keep on doing as you are doing, because if you were to go into the right lane and hit someone, you would be at fault.

I had this happen to me, only I got the finger too.

On Christmas. Old man wearing a santa hat.

I waved and said merry Christmas.
