when you are on tight back country roads, please keep your vehicle between the white line on your right and the yellow line on your left. this generally helps opposing traffic to pass by without causing an accident.

1) got stuck behind Stupid Useless Vehicle on my motorcycle

2) i'd say i was 100yds from a tight curve and a dumbass chevy S-10 crosses double yellows at said turn. as i was going into the curve, dumbass ricer civic crossed double yellows into my lane. had to keep the corner extra tight to avoid clipping him.

So the pickup didn't actually bother you, the Honda did?

Around here, it's common to use the whole highway on a two lane road in the turns...nothing to do with any particular vehicle.

Lots of drivers out in the country don't stay in their lane on the curves. Perhaps "common" is too strong, but it's certainly not unusual.

Plenty of people do stupid things all the time, it doesn't make it good driving.

when youre on a motorbike, nobody else is ever at fault. it is up to the rider to avoid any and all obstacles.

While it may be up to the rider to avoid any and all obstacles it doesn't mean that others are not at fault...

That's common around here too. I'll go across a double yellow line in curves, but only if I can see that no one's coming (like on a curve where I can see the next 500+ feet of road), and I don't do it at a speed where I can't stay in my lane if I had to. It's stupid to do it on a blind curve. My uncle could've died on his motorcycle when he was riding on a mountain road and a jeep came around the corner skidding its tires and completely in my uncle's lane.

It certainly is dangerous and stupid too.

Yeah. Scared the bejesus out of me when I began to encounter it. I'm not originally from the area, and such lane liberties were new to me.

It doesn't seem to cause the wrecks that you'd think it would, though.

I guess everyone knows to look as far around that corner as possible as they approach.

I have no idea what the cops think if they see it.
