I called tech support to complain that my suction cup mount basically melted to my windshield and asked if I could get a friction mount sent to me instead of a suction cup since it'd just happen again and they are.
So if you're having the issue many others are where your suction cup mount melted to your windows and will not suction anymore as a result then just make sure to register your Nuvi first then call them up and ask for a friction mount free of charge.
