Baby dead after mom tosses infant into washing machine, launches spin cycle: cops

An Oklahoma woman has been charged with felony child neglect after her 10-day-old baby was killed in a washing machine.

Lyndsey Fiddler, 26, was high on drugs when she put her newborn daughter, Maggie May Trammel, in the washing machine along with the dirty laundry and started a washing cycle, local station NewsOn6 reported.

Maybe every baby should take a quick trip through the spin cycle. Weed out the weaklings so that all that remain are superbabies. After a few generations those superior genes would get passed along and no babies would ever have to fear a spin cycle again.

Fiddler’s dangerous drug habit spurred her relatives toward an unsuccessful attempt to have her parental rights stripped when she was four months pregnant.

She had previously been convicted of larceny and assault and battery, and has received numerous traffic violations for speeding, driving without a license and failing to put her other kids in child safety seats

Sounds like the system failed. I can't believe she was allowed to keep her kids.

Exactly. And it's an end to disposable diapers. Buy one diaper and leave it on the kid. When it's dirty just leave it on the baby and toss into the machine. Both child and diaper come out squeaky clean. Cleaner stronger babies, easier for parents, no diapers in landfills. In one step we've revolutionized the baby industry.
