Roast of Dennis Leary 🙂

who is dennis leary?

Dr. Timothy Leary, PhD (1920-1996) Psychologist, philosopher, explorer, teacher, optimist, author and revolutionary avatar of the mind. Rightly called the Galileo of Consciousness, he went public with his observations of the mind made with psychedelic mindscopes and helped initiate a renaissance which is still only beginning to elaborate itself.

This should be good. My Computer is allll set to capture it. So far, the only Roast that has really sucked was the one of "Rob Reiner". The rest have been good IMO.

Alright, I'll save it in good quality. Someone will have to talk me through converting it to DIVX (Haven't done it in a while.) And I'll send it to someone to host it. (But if anyone else can, do it. We need redundancy here folks.)

Eh. It was kinda funny. Not great though. Seemed like the roasters made fun of everyone else more than they made fun of Leary. And the Leary jokes were all the same. <shrug>

It definitely wasn't as funny as I expected it to be. As zippy said, most people seemed to make more jokes about the people in attendance than Leary himself. I don't think the priest said a single bad thing about Leary, he just spent the whole time cracking one liners. Oh well.

i didn't see it, but i get the feeling Comedy Central will replay it over and over and over and over and over again...

they replayed it right after it premiered...😛

I thought the priest was funny.

"Never really been a religious man myself.... became a priest because I was lazy" haha!

lame, but then again its dennis leary, who peaked when he did bo jackson commercials.

To be fair, working with Bo Jackson would be the peak of *anyone's* career.

It had its moments, I did love the irony of them poking fun at the quaker state commercials, and a number of them aired during the show.

I still like the priests one liner though: A priest, a rapist, and a pedophile walked into a bar.... and that's just the first guy.

I have to say, IMO the priest was the funnies person on the whole roast 🙂
