What if I want to suggest software other than FuseTalk? :Q
Your best bet would be to suggest it to yourself and start your own forum. When it becomes bigger than Anandtech you can come back and shoot us big razzies. Good luck and we will miss you.
Nah, the forums here are great...I can't see razzies ever being in order. The problem as I see it is that user feedback is completely ignored. It will be the eventual downfall of the AT forums if things continue long enough.
I don't see it as being completely ignored. Zuni is developing the product and some suggestions are implemented. If he added everything that everyone wanted it wouldn't be his project any more.
I guess I am saying that there has to be some constraints ans Zuni decides when and where.
To be completely honest, he seems more interested in perfecting a look instead of a function, something not uncommon for web designers.
The product is NEVER for the developer, it's for the users, their wishes are what is important, it is, after all, a product for the users.
However, hobby projects will never recieve the kind of attention that professional projects do, the time has to be divided between the hobby project and all other things.
Users will have to be patient with the bugs that are there for several months, but a user doesn't really care about the situation, it is just irritating.
