they totally fall apart when you eat them

I like each bite of taco with some lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, shell and meat, not multiple bites with one lettuce + tomato + shell, one cheese + meat + shell.

therefore I came to the conclusion these might be the worst taco shells ever conceived.

when I saw them on the shelf I was like, hmm they look bigger than the small ones so I'll try them out. They were so bad man, its like what kind of marketing strategy is this, its everything a taco shell shouldn't be, I can't imagine many people buy them repeatedly. There were a ton of them on the shelfs.

I'll never ever get them again, and I advise you do the same.

I have no idea what you're talking about but I will say this: tacos, whether or not they fall apart, are delicious. Good day sir.

they don't just fall apart they completely split in half, and the meat starts falling out the bottom.

a little falling apart is acceptable, but these are a disaster - all you have to do is look at the design and imagine trying to bite a clean bite off...

I've since gone back to regular small shells and jumbo shells - no more stand 'n stuff

wow that is weird, I just tried these tacos shells out a few days ago myself. As soon as I took my first bite I thought to myself, "gosh these are terrible." The flat bottom on the shell makes it very awkward to try to bite into when you tilt the shell, and as soon as you bite, the entire shell will snap.

soft tacos are far better anyway. Most of the corn shells suck because most corn tortillas suck unless you get some authentic ones.

exactly

when I first saw them at the market I thought they looked neat, and since they were out of Jumbo shells I decided to try them.

First bite is all it takes, and you're like WHOA how come I didn't think of this disaster when I was looking at the box??

What I've been doing when making tacos at home is to almost mix the ingredients together or layer them in a way that things like sour cream, salsa, etc. hold everything in place a little better. Yes, this means it won't be in the same order as Taco Bell, but that's fine for me.

Agreed. Tostadas are the best way to easily fill, get a bite of everything, and reduce the crumble/crack factor. I've given up on regular taco shells, too much of a PITA!

Damn, I feel the same way about those piece o crap shells! My wife bought them and I used them while she was out of town and told her never to buy those again. She thought I was over reacting and she went and bought them again. She tried them while I was at work. When I took the garbage out I saw the box in there, full of those shells. She wouldn't admit it, but she hates them too!

If you put a soft tortilla around the outside as a holder, it might work better.

No dings, unfortunately. I've tried 'em, heated 'em up and everything (hard taco shells taste nasty if you don't) and they still stink. The flat bottom makes it all fall apart too much. Normal taco shells work much better.

you obviously didn't look at the shell design

I pre(toast/heat?) all my taco shells in the oven for a little before I eat them.
They're all good and barely fall apart, whether they're small or jumbo shells - EXCEPT FOR STAND 'N STUFF

stand 'n stuff taco shells are the worst shells ever.

coincidentally when I got my first box of stand 'n stuff shells I got another box of shells which I will buy from now on, some small taco shells that actually taste like those nice restaurant's tortilla chips.
