PSA Sking/Snowboarding at 12,000 feet is awesome

A-Basin is so cool.

Another PSA - A-Basin too crowded.

They issued 100,000 buddy passes to the Vail resorts.

Vail is not open yet so everyone from the west slope is there.

Lines 10 stalls wide and like a quarter mile deep.

Less than 5 minutes and on the lift at Loveland.

You've never seen winter?😕

I've seen snow at 0 feet before. Don't think it would make for good skiing, though.

It's been a loooong time since I've seen snow. Living in the Senoran Desert will do that to you though.

Thanks, added the missing 0.

I've skied upstate New York and the Poconos but nothing like the Rockies.

This is as far west as I have gotten.

Look out left coast I'm working my way there. 😉

I was down in New Orleans last 2 years and got out of there after almost dying in Katrina aftermath.

This is quite a change up here.

I'm going to Keystone Feb 9-16.
Been going there for about 10+ yrs.

Took debi there in February, awesome but a little pricey like Vail/Breckenridge.

PSA to folks that don't know.

Keystone is fully lighted by awesome powerful light unit's.

Mountain is open till 10pm.

I'm headed for Copper Mountain in January if anyone wants to meet up and get your ass handed to you by a girl skiier😉

 I was the oldest and heaviest out there.

They nicknamed me Yogi 😀

I would rather ride later than earlier. Earlier means little coverage. Later means slop and t-shirts. I have ridden on the north slope of squaw as late as July. Actually, now that im in the NE i miss both early and late riding. 🙁

It is pricey but we got a great deal this season.
We got a 2 bedroom condo within walking distance to the lift.
7 nights lodging, 4 day lift tickets, minivan, direct flight on Southest and it costing us $735 per person. There are 5 of us.
Usually it cost us close to $1K
