What's your favorite?, mine's the one where Burgess Meredith is declared "obsolete" by the state and sentenced to death for it..

The episode called Time Enough at Last. Reminds me of what I would do with my PC game collection.

Great choice, Burgess Meridith was in several TZ episodes and was an excellent actor, (he got robbed IMO for not getting best supporting Oscar for "Rocky"). Amazing just how good TZ was considering that TV special effects in the early 60's were really cheesy. Also is fun to see how many big Hollywood names did TZ episodes early in their career..

I just looked the episode up on IMDB. It turned 50 years old last month.

I can only hope that when I have enough time at last there will be some form of electricity to tap from.

I find the series a fascinating look into the early 60's. Many of the episodes deal with a longing to go back to a simpler time and yet, we often view the 50's and early 60's with rose colored glasses about how they were the goo ol' days.

First, Rod Sterling was a frikken genius. His ability to write such a diversity of episodes on such a short schedule was amazing. However, I was less thrilled when he dealt with political topics because those episodes seem much more dated.

Favorite episode is easily 'Nick of Time'. William Shatner was perfect for many of those scripts.

He was also in "nightmare at 20,000 feet", another classic. That episode was re-made for "TZ-the movie" with Johnathan Lithgow playing the lead role, and Aurthur Miller (of Road Warrior) directing, worth a watch for sure!..
