I've seen way too many polls that look like this:
You know, making a poll like this accomplishes absolutely nothing except find out the percent of voters that are happy and the percent of voters that believe in god.
Consider the following scenerio:
If everyone who voted Choice 1 also voted for Choice 3, and everyone who voted for Choice 2 voted for Choice 4, we know the correlation is 1.00, and the poll would show 50/50 on both questions.
However, consider the next scenerio:
If everyone who voted Choice 1 also voted for Choice 4, and everyone who voted for Choice 2 voted for Choice 3, we know the correlation is exactly the opposite of the previous one (at -1.00), however the poll would still show 50/50 on both questions.
If you actrually want to show a correlation, you need to make a poll that looks like this:

Question 1: Are you in general happy with yourself?
Choice 1: Yes
Choice 2: No
Question 2: Do you believe in god?
Choice 3: Yes
Choice 4: No

Choice 5: I am happy with myself, and I believe in god.
Choice 6: I am not happy with myself, and I believe in god.
Choice 7: I am happy with myself, and I'm smart enough not to believe in god.
Choice 8: I am not happy with myself, but I'm smart enough not to believe in god.
