Damn I love Quiznos. Will have to cut back on the subs I eat there as I'm trying to loose weight, was having a small vegi all the time but that's still 500 calories!
500 calories isn't that much, even for lunch.

Yeah, but Quiznos >>>>>>>>>>> Subway

Locally, we have a lot of mom & pop types of sub shops.
My local mom & pop sub shops >>>>>>> Subway >>>> Quiznos.

Proof: The local Quiznos went out of business because they had almost no return customers. Not good & definitely not worth the price.

Other than Ann Arbor, I don't know their other locations. Awesome subs, good price and a great vegetarian sandwich!

Yeah, but Quiznos >>>>>>>>>>> Subway

I disagree. Quiznos is basically 0 value when you compare to Subway. Look at price/size fo their sandwiches, and Quizno's is about 75% mroe expensive.

That, and their food isn't any fresher, or higher quality than Subway. It's pure marketing BS.

For fast food sandwiches, Subway is waaaay better than Quizno's.

....But Potbelly is greater than all others, of course. ;)

not so much...Firehouse is mildly ok just because they have an awesome selection of hot suaces. The subs themselves are pretty meh.

Yeah, the Firehouse subs that I've had were pretty much on Miami Subs level.

...this is not a good thing. Fine for drunken-ass, 3AM food, ....but this is also why poutine is popular.

:p

To be fair...the large sub is freak'n huge. Who eats that much? I'm a full grown 6'5" male and I rarely eat more than the small...sometimes the "regular" size if I'm not getting chips. The large is enough for a small family.

Wtf serious? You're 6'5 and you eat a small sub at Quiznos?

At my last job there was a quiznos nearby, so I would eat there for lunch pretty often. I usually would just get a small sub, or a bowl of chili and a side salad. So, not super healthy, but not terrible.

The thing about the OP's list is that it excludes the real terrible items, like the steak sandwiches and large salads. Those things are worse than a lard injection into the heart.

I saw that too. Isn't the point of getting a veggie sub that it is "healthier" for you? Guess it's 200 calories healthier than the club and italian so you're saving on that...

Ahchem,, I don't want to sould like a health nut, but CARBBBs. if you look up on calorie counter, 1 cup of uncooked' rice has about the same amount of calories as 1 cup of pure sugar. THAT is no coincidence

Subway can't compete in taste and if I'm already paying $8 for a large sub meal at Subway I'd rather pay $10 at Quiznos and have some flavor with that.

Their food is of higher quality as well, especially noticeable in the meat department. You ever look at the chicken at Subway?

The only reason I ever have Subway is because they are everywhere and Quiznos is only where people that care about how semi-fast food tastes are. ($$$)

I had a 1.5 pound burrito from Qdoba. That was over 3200mg of Salt and probably 1600 calories after all the fixins. Mmmmmmmm.
