Then again, I pity the person next to him in the stall! Skoorb has the power to scare anyone away with his a$$!

LMAO!!! 😀

#2 is understood and applies to urinals as well if they are many of them.

But #1 I don't agree with. I only use stalls when all urinals are occupied. I would feel stupid going to a stall to take a piss when there was an empty urinal because that screams to anyone else in the washroom that I am a puss that can't piss beside another man.

Don't forget to nervously spit into the urinal as you approach it. Whether you need to spit or not, just do it! That's what guys do! 😉

Rule #4 Anybody that fakes washing their hands should be shot. You know the type, run the water to make you think they are washing but in reality they are too damn lazy. I've seen it all too much.

yikes, the bathroom rules. In women's restrooms, you don't really have to worry about skipping a stall or urinating in the urinal next to some lady.

We don't have urinals and the stalls are always full. And if the stalls aren't full, they don't lock.:frown:

this is prime sig material.

also, this thread title is misleading. etiquette implies generally accepted guidelines.

#1 and #2 are universal laws 😀

Scenario: public bathroom with two urinals which do not have a divider between them. Next to them is 4 stalls.

Rule #1: If somebody is at a urinal you are absolutely forbidden from going to the urinal next to them unless all 4 stalls are being used. If there is a remaining stall, please lift the lid up and use it instead

Rule #2: If somebody is using a stall and the other three are empty, you must leave at least one buffer-stall between you both. If they are in 1 or 2, you go to 3 or 4, respectively. There is no need to sit next to them when a buffer-stall is available.

If you're reading this and you don't agree, well get a clue. 95% of males understand these rules, but I continue to see fully grown supposedly adjusted adults who've no qualms about breaking them. The first rule is important, and the second is golden.

hmmm, seems you have some deep rooted issues that might need tending to?

I just go where I want.

-edit- I'm talking about #1, #2 is appropriate.

I do not use a urinal next to another man unless it's an emergency. It's just common curtesy. If someone else pee's next to me, I am just as rude to them by trying to start a conversation.

also, please flush after you take a dump. ive seen this happen many times.
and wash your hands after going to the bathroom...especially #2

Yeah, if you have that many prerequisites to take a piss you should seek some help.

wonder what Skoorb's rules are for "the trough" or open showers? reminds me of this little guy who when after practice and we're all showering he would immediately go the the corner, stare at the wall and zip out.

man that guy had issues.

I agree with both rules with the exception of the stall clause in #1 (although I, myself, would go to an open stall rather than use a urinal next to someone).

I'd like to add another one:
No talking to other people when you or they are using a urinal/stall. I hate it when I'm taking a leak and someone comes in and decides to be Chatty Cathy. 😛

hahaha.

Years ago I went to Yale Bowl (Yale University). The urinals consisted of a cinder block wall with a horizontal pipe across it with water dribble holes cut in it. There was a drain trough at the bottom. To use the urinal you basically walk up to the wall and pee on it.

It was a male bonding experience. Skoorb would have fainted.
