He was one of my favorite guests on the Keith Olberman show. Devastated is not enough to describe my disappointment. His arguments are, I think he's probably guilty, but you have to take more time, and get more evidence, cause...……?

Didn't even know who this guy is. Looked him up.... He was alright with Clinton impeachment and gave hell to Obama over 8 yrs for stupid crap. Just saw he claims to have been friends with Barr for a long time. Sounds like a piece of work.

Oh shit. Now we are reaching back to Johnson supposedly planting a spy in the Goldwater campaign. Now to FDR, now to Kennedy. Guess which party is doing the questioning.
George Washington has now not been left out.

Dems should ask the Republicans if they had any fact witnesses when they tried to impeach Clinton. I know the answer.

I've been listening on and off. Lately it really strains my patience and composure to listen to republican criminals do their best to undermine the Constitution for a traitor, but I did make a point to listen to this Turley guy. I'll take it as a good sign that he's basing his objections around procedure, not the merits, and bringing his kids and dog into it really put a smile on my face. A fall back to irrelevant appeal to emotion, not exactly a final nail for a damning rebuttal. In particular, his "Trump's call was anything but perfect" was great, that should get some good play time. Bribery needs to involve cash? Puh lease. Trying to make Bob Barr sound honorable doesn't work, not after his Reagan/Bush years, certainly not after that SOB turned his back on his oath and the country and became Trump's personal attorney.

Repugs look miserable because there are no good outcomes for them here. Either they piss off their voters or they get to wear this treasonous orange egg dish on their faces for the next several generations. They don't want to play the game because they'll get creamed. Better to throw tantrums and spew hypocritical outrage, hope the waters keep getting muddy. Good luck with that traitors. Dems are firing on all cylinders here, I hope this continues. People who avoid the news are listening to this one.

Also, go Karlan, nice to see someone kick back against the theatrical pissant from Georgia.

It was funny seeing stomach stapled Jerry's words from the Clinton impeachment come back to haunt him. What a douche bag.

It would also be funny to see Turley's comments about impeaching Clinton on much less serious accusations.
Oh link -

You seem to be optimistic here. I'm not. It's becoming overwhelmingly clear to me that vast majority of the American people are either woefully misinformed and brainwashed to the point where they actually think Republicans put forth solid arguments at the hearings or do not care enough to follow the hearings at all so their decision will be based on what soundbites sound the most compelling. The right wing/Russian propaganda machine works wonders, I really underestimated intelligence of average American. My only hope is that the younger generation will see through this bullshit and start voting out GOP out of office before it is too late as there is no hope for boomers and such to turn around.

Dems should drag this out as long as possible so people remember when it's time to vote. Give it a year between impeachment and vote and people might not remember.

Having said that, the only hope of any change here is through the vote IMO...GOP will not be persuaded by facts.

"Vast majority"? Where did that come from?

When these clowns say 63 mil voted for Trump, a dem should say he lost the popular vote by 3 mil and won by less than 90K over three states.

Anyone who hasn't come to the conclusion over the last couple weeks that this guy needs to be thrown out is mentally deficient.

Direct witness testimony of people who were actually part of the Ukraine scandal barely moved the impeachment polling...I'm not sure any Dem screaming impeachment will convince the people that need to be convinced (ie. non-Dem voters).

IMO the longer it goes on the more people this will ensnare, which is a good thing to really drain the swamp.
