Only you expect the Russian money connections to turn out differently then the rest of the revealed connections.
I don't expect anything.
At this point all we have is hearsay, it may all be true, or it may be the ravings of a drug addled lunatic. Time will tell.

I don't think Bolton wants to testify before a committee not controlled by the Republican Party.

He'll face the same questions in either venue. McConnell can't tell the Dems what questions they can ask. Schiff can't tell GOP committee members, either. Now that Bolton has indicated he'll respond to a Senate subpoena there's no legit way to deny one from the House. I can't wait to see what he says.

Then it will be awkward for him to explain why he said he would testify before the Senate, then refuse to do so before the House.

They should subpoena him. I have a feeling he'll show up. He seems to want to testify.

He may have cornered himself. Bolton turning rat would be a thing of beauty. What's he going to say? That Trump told him not to testify for the House but that the Senate would be OK?

Even a warmonger like Bolton I'm sure could tell how dangerously screwed up going after Soleimani and threatening war crimes is. I don't think Bolton has any love for Trump at all. I'm not sure what he thinks of the party and the party's interest. I hope he spills it.

He was instrumental in selling the war crimes of Bush & Cheney. He's all about regime change in Iran.

He was already asked and his lawyer declined to comment

He thinks there will be enough remnants of the Republican party he knew after Trump is gone. He had to play his game that he isn't a never Trumper turncoat, so he let the court case play out. I think it's not just the court case now, but I think he hates Trump, and history would look on him kindly, if he played some role in getting rid of the dangerous stooge.

I'm sure he did. It's moot until such a subpoena is issued. Bolton's most recent statement is some mealy-mouthed bullshit-

The House hasn't concluded their Constitutional responsibility at all. It remains ongoing. He & the rest of Trump's defenders somehow manage to overlook the simple fact that Trump is an enemy of the Constitution, something they swore to protect.

I, AB, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

They're not upholding the Constitution, they're defying it. The whole thing is deeply immoral & utterly wrong, a repudiation of the values we hold dear.

Truth? Truth isn't truth in Trumplandia. Facts don't matter. It's whatever they can get people to believe. Not just believe, but believe in at a deep emotional level. It's all in the gut.
Came to post something similar... why not just reopen the case... as we all know it havent been sent yet. Get Boltons ass on the floor now!

Schiff says there's no plans for Bolton to testify in the House...? WTF? Are they trying to lose or what? Not that I believe Bolton would testify if subpoenaed.

Trump said today if Bolton is subpoenaed to testify in the Senate he'll invoke executive privilege, truly the actions of an innocent man.

What? No way! You haven’t heard? He’s doing it to protect the office of the presidency from congressional overreach!

Seems like Parnas’ attorney has handed over the entire contents of Parnas’ iPhone 11 (including unencrypted WhatsApp messages) WITHOUT any protective order restrictions.

Dems will leak like a Dutch *** if there’s anything juicy. If we don’t hear anything then either a) there’s nothing Parnas has and this is just a ploy to waste people’s time or reduce his sentence, or b) Dems aren’t buying it.

that'd be nice

unless they're going the trumpian route of "those witnesses must be joe and hunter biden"

now if they call administration officials like Bolton and McGahn(sp?), that will actually be meaningful.

McGahn was gone before Trump went on his Ukrainian adventure. His testimony would only be relevant wrt the Mueller investigation. Dems are still working on that in the courts.

When I see it.
But you know, as far as vindication goes it will be a nice first step.

Also. Is Ukraine leaking?

It is not yet clear what the hackers found, or precisely what they were searching for. But the experts say the timing and scale of the attacks suggest that the Russians could be searching for potentially embarrassing material on the Bidens — the same kind of information that Mr. Trump wanted from Ukraine when he pressed for an investigation of the Bidens and Burisma, setting off a chain of events that led to his impeachment.

(bolding mine)

... or what they were planting.

According to a security expert, the "fingerprints" on the Burisma attack were exactly the same as those on the DNC hack, and point straight to the GRU. They didn't even bother to disguise themselves. So not only were they searching for (or planting) evidence, they were giving a great big "nyah-nyah-nyaaaaahhh" to Western intelligence, knowing that Barr/Trump - or "Barrump" - will short-circuit any possible investigation. Facepalm!

But..Hey!...I mean, it could be Russia, but it could also be China. It could also be lots of other people. It also could be somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds, OK? You don’t know who broke in to Burisma
