Definitely better than the original. I think I may give the free 2 month Live subscription a try. I got this game today as well, although it wasn't supposed to be sold until tomorrow mwahahahahaha.

EDIT: BTW, the Zonda, Koenigsegg, Ford GT, Fort GT40, And Enzo Ferrari are awesome.

I played the first one and it sucked, nice cars but turning was impossible for me. I guess I'll try this one out

i totally blew at the first one. I hate the kudo's system... it was impossible for me.

Chad got his copy over the weekend and told me that EB didn't seem to care about the release date. Dropped by there today and they completely ignored the "Don't Sell Until 11/18" sticker on it. ;)

I want this game but I don't think I can afford it quite yet. I really haven't played the original too much although I really should. Oh well, in time I think I'll buy it.

This game is absolutely amazing. Now the Kudos are there as a bonus and are not really needed to advance... racing takes the forefront. I also love the way they set it up as far as difficulty. You can advance through the game at your own pace. You choose your difficulty for each race, therefore, for each race, you determine how hard you want it to be.

I actually didn't like PGR 1 but this game. Wow. I am impressed.

That's something I like about this years version. The first one was near impossible for me to finish and at the end I just ended up using the cheat because no matter how many times I tried it, always ended up losing.

i wanna check it out, but the kudos system from the metropolis street racer is still makes me weary.. but i'll def check it out, when i can find some time.

I know what you mean... I didn't like MSR nor did I like PGR, because of the Kudos system as well as the difficulty.

But PGR2 has fixed all of that. :)

It seems to be "feast or famine" with the Wings this year... They either play very well or they play like absolute crap. Never seems to be in between or consistant.

Yes, now even scrubs can unlock all tracks since they have introduced the "Steel" Medal. ;)

Currently playing currently ranked 16th in the world (or at least the US) on Arcade Race --> Street Race 04. Mmm... racing a frickin' GTR vs a Mustang and a Viper?! What type of crack were the programmers smoking?! I think I'll be top 50 on that track for a while and much respect for the guy who is number 1.
