AHHH i see that word spelled wrong at least 2-3 times a day. it is really starting to frustrate me lol (not really, but you know...)

before anyone says it, i already thought of how it could be easily typed wrong since z and s are pretty close together. but, i have seen the same people do it over and over, so im starting to think they just cant spell.

im not a grammar nazi and i never quote people to make sure they know they spelled something wrong...but this is a way to let everyone know without hurting anyone's feelings 😀

edit: speeeling...(at least i spelled stuff wrong and i am admitting it 😛 )

who the fvck spells it with a z?

i am taking some online classes, and part of the class is to talk in a discussion forum...EVERY person spelled it with a Z and when i used an S they all pointed it out...i was like WTF here is a link to dictionary.com and they were all like uhhhh ummm deeerrrrr next subject please

Lets start the movement to spell it like it should have been spelled origionally: surprized. Why? Suppose you got a sudden unexpected prize - you are then surPRIZED. Makes much more sense that way.

Even the pronunciation is with a 'z' sound - look at the dictionary.com pronunciation. Why say it with a 'z' but spell it with an 's'?

I could care less.

They're will always be people who can not spell properly.

Theirs no use crying over it. You'll only loose sleep.

Now, if they would of used shocked, then it wouldn't make a difference.

And, while we're on the topic ...

It's color and not colour

It's flavor and not flavour

It's favorite and not favourite

it's very important when taking any grammar nazi-ish action to double check your own spelling. But it's very big of you not to quote them, I wish I were that big.
