USPS will observe the National Day of Mourning on Friday for President Reagan. There will be no regular mail delivery or retail window service that day.

Uh, Ok.. :disgust:

Sorry, I respect former President Regan as much as the next, but what is the point in this stupid sh!t? It's just an inconvienence for everybody.

I guess the postal workers aren't complaining, they get a day off while everybody else wonders where their mail is.

They are also trying to get him on either the 10 or 20 dollar bill. Probably should be Nancy on the bill though not Ronald :)

Good question.

I don't remember anything like this happening when Nixon died in '94. Maybe I just wassn't paying attention since I was just out of high school.

Doesn't much matter here. Mail lady delivers when she wants to. Won't get mail for a week and then one week of mail at once.

Reagan was also a governor of CA, which is one of the reasons CA state employees get the day off
