PSA: MacGyver - Season 1 DVD will be released on 01/25/2005!

I wonder it if will include a paper clip, drinking straw and a rubberband with DVD instructions on how to build a bomb with it. That would rock.
 
To me the only negative I see is that the audio will be in mono, h*ll, even the re-runs I watch on SpikeTV are in stereo! 😕
 
I am sorry Zim, but I can honestly say I have never seen a single EP of MacGyver. I HAVE seen every 24 episode so far 🙂
 
You know whats funny? The oldest TV show I recall seeing as a child was an episode of MacGyver where he was in some old WW2 tomb/bunker and found a bunch of valuables and then some guy turned on him or something (this was like 15 years ago heh)

The DVD set I -really- want to see is Leave It To Beaver...best show evar 😉

Just a heads up for everyone, the video quality isn't the greatest. Some look great but the majority are grainy/dirty and some other things. If video quality is very important to you, you probably will be dissapointed. If you don't really care about VQ that much it's not a problem. Also there are no extras on the set.

Why would they release a DVD like that, if it's not perfect?.. and they know it's not?
 
Old masters were not well-preserved, sometimes they were lost entirely.

This is when having netflix is great: rent them, enjoy them in the proper sequence without commercials, but without having to buy them.

Netflix - 16 years of subscribing for the price of one "free" download
 
heh sad.. yea when they switched from film to video..quality dropped. the startrek series dvds show that pretty clearly. startrek the original series is incredibly clear, it was from film. next generation looks pretty iffy.. def video quality with the fuzziness and all.
