PSA: it's "George Bush doesn't care about black people"

Over 75% of the people I see trying to quote KANYE West (not the N is before the Y, its not KAYNE) are quoting him incorrectly.

Kayne West did not say "George Bush hates black people."

Kanye West said "George Bush doesn't care about black people."

Just wanted to announce that since the majority of the people dont know

1. The guys real name that said the statement.
2. The actual statement he said.

In all fairness, he's not a professional political pundit. I'm not a rap music lover, but I suspect he's already made more money than I ever will in my entire life, so I have to give credit where credit is due.

I don't think Kanye is an especially effective speaker, but I don't necessarily think his statement indicates ignorance on his part. For my part, I don't think President Bush is a racist - I think he doesn't fundamentally care about anyone, regardless of race, and particularly not about people who are not wealthy and influential. He just seems to lack empathy. I don't think he's an evil person, but I also don't think he cares about other people - he seems very detached and non-engaged toward others.

My thoughts as well, I don't think he has it out for black people I just think there's probably a lack of concern. Which is pretty typical these days I guess
