I went in to the dentist on tuesday to get fitted for a crown on one of my upper back teeth. Sat night, while out of town, the temporary crown fell out while I was eating.
Now, if you're not familiar with the procedure, they basically take and grind off the outer layers of your tooth and place a metallic or ceramic piece over what's left.
So, the pain intensity has been gradually increasing since Sat, and when I arrived home tonight I figured a dab of ambesol would make it feel better. I proceded to apply a drop of the solution directly to the tooth, and BAM, it was like a bit on a 100,000 Volt power line. THe pain I was previously experiencing was multiplied by about 100x, and seems to be lasting quite a while.
I took a percocet I had left over from a surgery I had a while back, and theat managed to numb the pain for about an hour.
FUN!!!
