You can buy a 1 day subscription and download the factory manuals for your vehicle. Each section is in PDF format, at least it was for the transmission manual I needed.

Toyota factory manuals are excellent, especially helpful for diagnosing DTCs as they have a nice flowchart to follow

FYI, all auto manufacturers have a similar site. It's a Federal law now. What they charge for the info differs widely though.

Woah... Where do I find this for Honda? The service manual is $70 normally.

I take it you can save these PDFs, right?
I mean why would they offer a monthly or yearly subscription if you could get your own copy in a single download?

I don't know about saving them, I just printed the manual.

I imagine the yearly subscription is for shop that don't want paper manuals around or bother with storing and organizing all the pdfs.

CFster, know of any sites that will list the different mfg?

Here are the ones I know of:

Audi

Bentley

BMW

Chrysler

Ford

GM

Honda
Acura

Hyundai

Isuzu

Jaguar

Kia

Land Rover

Maserati

Mazda

Mercedes

Mini

Mitsubishi

Nissan
Infiniti

Porsche

Saab

Suzuki

Toyota
Lexus

VW

Volvo

As I said, the manufacturers differ widely in the rates they charge for documents.

Porsche for example, charges $110 per document, or $5200 per year for a time based subscription. They allow you to search for documents and display their table of contents for free though.

BMW has one day subscription for $30, so download as many docs as you can I guess. Honda's is $20 for 3 days, or $250 for a year.

LOTS. They don't put page numbers some of them, but for the Lexus manual I have, it's probably 1000 pages
